To ensure your privacy and to make sure we have all needed information, initial appointments are scheduled by phone. Future appointments can be scheduled directly with your therapist.

We’re can meet you in person or online, days, evenings and weekends. We have offices in Missouri and Kansas.

AHA Mental Health appointments can be scheduled at:

Fees and billing

Fees range from $100-$150 per session. If you are paying with insurance, the cost may differ. When you schedule an appointment, we’ll specify the cost so there are no surprises. Payment can be made via our patient portal or in person at the time of the appointment.

  • Insurance

  • EAP

  • HSA

We accept insurance including BlueKC (all Blue Cross Blue Shield plans ), Meritain, Optum, Aetna, Cigna, ChampVA, GEHA and United Behavioral Healthcare. What if I can’t afford it?
Income-based adjustments may be available. No one will be denied service due to the inability to pay. Please email billing@ahamentalhealth.com or call 816.228.7508 to learn more.

Because of the personal nature of therapy and privacy laws, we don’t offer counseling through email.
